Employee Engagement Specialist

Our client, a prominent investment bank / financial consultancy, is searching for a Diversity + Inclusion Specialist to join their HR team of 30 here in NYC! This position is responsible for coordinating a range of events/activities related to diversity and inclusion, and will also function in community engagement for the committee that handles employee charitable giving.

Type of employment: Permanent, full-time

Diversity and Inclusion/HR focus:

Partner with HR managers and business leaders to organize events and coordinate diversity efforts across the firm

Coordinate the development and activities of employee resource groups

Leverage networking and employee referrals to help grow diversity

Develop and compile KPIs to track effectiveness of diversity initiatives; conduct benchmarking analyses on diversity and inclusion initiatives

Provide support/research in developing and integrating relevant topics in L+D programs

Partner with campus recruiters to ensure touch points with student diversity groups are leveraged

Charitable Giving/Foundation focus:

Coordinate employee volunteerism and community engagement in line with the Foundation’s objectives

Manage select partnerships for community involvement in the US

Manage day-to-day processing of employee gift matching program

Facilitate requests for volunteering opportunities

Assist in the development of communications for community involvement and volunteering

Organize/plan foundation committee meetings


Requirements (Education + Experience):

Bachelor's Degree

2-4 years of professional experience in human resources, D+I, employee engagement and/or giving programs, or with a corporate foundation
